Prussian Needle Gun

1. My Brother-in-Law from Pennsylvania is bring me a Prussian Needle Gun (circa-1860-1870) to see if I want to buy it. He says he'll take $600.00 for it? Apart from brief stories on Tales of the Gun, I know little about them. Are they worth much?

2. He says his Grandfather brought it from Germany in the early 1900s when he immigrated.

3. Tell me something good, before I spend my money!!!

Anything that old is worth $600 if its in good shape and has not been refinished. Thats a big deal with antiques. When you see it be sure and post, I'm curious as to its condition.

1. Will do. I have been told that it was the fourrunner to the Mauser actions that followed. It was used in the Franco-Prussian War and devestated the French. I will definitely post pics.
