View Full Version : Bulgy 4-piece flash hider for AK pistols?
I've heard that the Bulgy 4-piece flash hider is extremely effective in reducing muzzle flash. Question is, has anyone put one on their AK pistol? I have an AMD-65 pistol I've been thinking about getting one for...just wanted to know if anyone has tried this before shelling out $70 or so for one. :ywoot

AC37,
Not to burst your bubble, but having the muzzle flash of a pistol is 90% of the fun. :ywoot
Now if you're going for cool looks, that would be the FH to get. :dazzler:
Kinda pricey for me though.

I've been thinking the same thing.
Slamfires is right -very high on the coolfactor scale.
I plan to get one and throw it in with my Bulgy Krink kit that I plan to make into a pistol-if I can find someone to make it for me :upset:
But my question is this:
I have an M92 on the way for a pistol build also. Does someone make this type of FH to fit this style and caliber, or is this a 5.45 only part?

Simply bad ass!
And yes that is the most effective flash suppressor for the 7.62x39 caliber.
Reports I have heard it produces no visible flash!

That is an awesome pistol!
Does Atlantic sell these FH's for the 7.62?
I tried searching the site with no results.

No, the only folks that sell that Bulgarian hider are the Bulgarians. You have to get it from the "K-PEOPLE".

The AMD-65 barrel has 14X1 threads while the Bulgarian 4-piece flash hider has 24X1.5 threads. To use that particular flash hider, you will need to get an adapter. I think Global Trades sells them.

I plan to put that on a Yugo M92.
Do I still need an adapter?

We tested the 4 piece & other flash hdiers at night and the Krink four piece unit blew all the others away !!

From what I remember, the Yugo has a different barrel thread than the standard Krinks do. At least that is what I keep hearing.

Glad to hear it, that's what I've been hearing and just wanted to confirm it. Guess I'll be getting one soon then. :big:
Out of curiousity, on your Krink pistols with the Bulgy Flash hiders on them, they aren't part of the operating system in 7.62 like they are in 5.45, correct?
Slammie, muzzle flash is fun indeed, but it's also nice to not be blinded too! :o
