Polishing fire control components...

I've never attempted to polish any of my FCG's but I know some of you have.

Post your techniques, tips, hints, etc here!

All of the ones that I have done I used a very fine knife sharpening stone. I take all the components out and carefully hit all the areas, taking care not to distort any edges. I just give them a little shine and call it good, it seems to work, or atlest it has so far :)

If it are sliding parts.. using some Flitz or other similar compound between them works. I use this for the slide if it is a bit tight/rough.
