Guys wither it be statewide or national we NEED a list of things to accomplish and to help better organize our startup on the statewide and national levels.

Please help each other to put together a good list of things that need to get done. This will also help us to properly task things out and keep track of who is working on what and what is completed and what still needs to be completed.

Hear is what I have so far and a good example so everyone else gets what I'm talking about.

1. Mission statement - Darkmind ( Work in progress )

2. Official Email addys for state and national levels - I have 50 Gmail invites to distribute for this cause. For example, in the next few days I'll start up an official 21st Century Patriots Michigan chapter email addy. Something like MI21stCenturyPatriots@Gmail.com or 21stCenturyPatriotsMI@Gmail.com.

I also think that we should talk about standardizing the email addys so there all alike. For example

21stCenturyPatriotsMI@Gmail.com
21stCenturyPatriotsFL@Gmail.com
and so on.

What do you guys think?

That will be much easier to remember email addresses.

Darkmind - absolutely correct. We do need a list of things to accomplish.

But things get done by people, and therefore, number one on the list is to identify leadership.

Rusty (Prometheus) and I are already working on this. It will be very helpful if the national leadership are all in one geographically confined area so that we can meet face to face periodically. Same for each state's "board". Since Ron Paul is a Texas Congressman and since there are a lot of Texans stepping forward, it makes sense to form something here to kick this off. Nothing against any other state at all, just trying for the absolute best chance to get this rolling. Everyone will have an important roll in this that wants one.

We should have this accomplished very soon and will make some announcements.

Then, we will need to form the state boards and then, we identify the things you are listing - among other things.

Where are you? Geographically.

Are you interested in leadership in your area?

Please post in the big thread. (ATF BS thread).

As far as leadership is concerned, I would love to volunteer for AZ, but I cannot. Between getting married this Nov. and helping run 2 companies I am swamped and will not be able to give it the amount of attention it truly needs.

I will however do all of the grunt work I can in furthering the cause. Flyers, Web posting, I also have multiple Gmail invotes available, well over 200, so if we need them I have them as well. Only thing is, is Google pro gun? If not, then fuck them, we can find another service to use. ANy one know of their stance? I would hate to get running, and then have them shit down our accounts out of spite.

Google is not pro-gun, but I don't see them shutting accounts off. However, I think it would be better if we used email addresses associated with the domain we use for the site (if thats the direction we take). Guns Network Staff was going to get back with us about server stuff, so I'd like to hear what he comes back with. I just think it would look a lot more professional if we had @21centurypatriots.org addresses. Gmail accounts would be good for the time being however.

I agree ... That would be the best way to go as far as email addresses are concerned.

LOTS of great input guys. Now were starting to work like a team. Organization is the key. I'm not opposed to having the National level HQ in Texas.

You guys are right about the email thing. Gmail would work fine for a little while but they are not pro 2nd and I was not thinking about that. I'll hold off on the official Michigan chapter email addy until I hear more about that domain email deal. I like the idea about having the @21stCenturyPatriots.com deal better than what I was thinking.

Here's anothing thing we need to do: We need to come up with a way to deal with members.

We need to define:

1)What is a member?
2)How does one become a member?
3)What are the requirements for membership?
4)What benefits do members recieve?

Threre's probably more that I'm not listing.
