Gentlemen, I have alway said and heard many others say "if only all of these 2nd Amendment, pro-gun organizations could just coordinate and combine their strength, we would have this whipped!"
Well, I think that should be part of our function - to draw all other pro-gun, pro-second amendment, pro-hunting, pro-constitution organizations into the state capital rallys and ultimately a mega-CD rally.
Also, at the demonstrations, we should make every effort to get high-profile speakers. This will ensure that we get media coverage and if we choose wisely, we can mold the perception of the whole thing in a positive way.

Well, Texas can try for The Nuge. I am not sure who Az can get to speak yet. Time will tell.

As you know, the lefties have a handle on this stuff. So, why not use their experience to our advantage? This link is from the Rainforest Action Network. http://www.ran.org/action/toolbox/demonstration.html It lists some tips for putting together a demonstration. I'm sure there's other information out there on the web as well.

If there is a California leader, he/she should check this out. Could help our cause a bit further:
Gun Rights Policy Conference
GRPC 2005: Expand Gun Ownership
Come meet national gun rights leaders and your fellow grassroots activists at the 20th Annual Gun Rights Policy Conference (GRPC 2005) in Los Angeles, California, September 23, 24 & 25, 2005. This is your once-a-year chance to network and get an insider look and plan pro-gun rights strategies for the coming year.
Past GRPCs have outlined victory plans and made public the latest firearms trends. They allow you a first-hand chance to hear movement leaders--and make your voice heard.
This year we'll take a look at critical issues such as: expanding gun ownership, defeating gun bans, "smart" guns and ballistic imaging, city lawsuits, concealed carry legislation, gun show regulation, legal scholarship, state and local action. We'll also look at the critical 2006 election and much more.
The full roster of GRPC 2005 speakers has not yet been set. Past speakers include: Alan Gottlieb, Joseph Tartaro, Wayne LaPierre, Doug Painter, G. Gordon Liddy, Ken Hamblin, Massad Ayoob, Tom Gresham, John Lott, Jeff Snyder, Sen. Larry Craig and along with Reps. Chris Cannon, Marilyn Musgrave and many others.

I have been posting a link and a brief description of the 21st Century Patriots plan on other boards I frequent. So far, I have found a handful of patriots. But, some cant seem to get past their prejudices of other forums, or their fear of being labeled a terrorist.

Some people will never sign on regardless. However, we are aware of the "site prejudice" that some otherwise good potential contributors have and that is the reason that we will most likely have to go to a separate, dedicated site at some point.
We will however, continue our stong bond with Gunsnet - just in the form of links and such rather than being home based here. The ownership of this site sees this movement as being much more important than any differences that may exist between sites, and we should be very grateful to them for allowing us to start this here. Without Gunsnet, this wouldn't be happening- pure and simple.
Thank you for your efforts to spread the word!

One thing people here could look into is if their ISP provides free web space with their account. Most won't tell you they do unless you ask, and it is a minimum of space. But it could be used to pass along information. For now, all that would be necessary is something along the lines of:
To All 21st Century Patriots:
Want to take back your 2nd Amendment rights? Stand by and stay alert for more information coming soon!
I don't mind helping people who would like to do something like this. Very easily done with either Word or Front Page. In fact, one .html file (relatively small) could be distributed to those who want to participate and they could upload so as not to compromise their account.

I'm trying as well on a trapping site I frequent. A lot of trappers are real pro- 2nd as well as being not real big on gov't regs. We'll see.

I say we have a national "Take a Liberal Shooting" week. Break out the badass guns and give your leftist buddies a crash course on the wonderful world of firearm ownership and utilization :)
if we convert enough gun control supporters...
yea, you get the idea
