I think we should start by listing our goals, or suggestions for goals here.
I'll start with:
1. Doing away with all the BATFE garbage.
I think this should be our first goal.
2. Doing away with gun registration in ALL states.
3. Making gun laws a federal rule and not allow a state by state rule. (Example: California).
Just a few suggestions from me as to what our attainable goals could be.

Number 3 is a good idea. I'm all for state's rights, but when it comes to the 2nd, it should not be infringed upon in any way.
How about this, FFL holders are not required to keep sales records? Or maybe that would fall under #2.
No FFL required to order from importers/manufacturers for personal use.
Repeal NFA34, GCA68, the 86 machinegun ban.
Just some suggestions,

Yes it does seem ridiculous that sales between private individuals in the same state do not need an FFL, but all other transactions do. :gaga:
This could be one of our goals to do away with this, but this could be a long-term goal.
There are lots of things to go over and decide on which goals best suit our needs.
I do know that the ultimate goal is to have "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED".
We just have to keep suggesting ideas here and possibly vote (poll ideas?) on them.

Thoug I hate gun laws, I don't think people should be allowed to order direct to their homes.. Now don't hate me for this, I'll tell you why..
I had a woman come into my shop wanting to buy a gun.. While she was filling out the 4473, she started talking about "Scattering her husbands body parts across the county.." Well I decided then and their that she would not be geting a gun..
Though we are all law abidung honest citezens, their are still a lot of shit heads out there, and I would like to thik someone is still alive by me not selling her that weapon..

What about the 3-day waiting period?
I would agree with what you said mike26038. There are a lot of bad apples out there, and I realize that there needs to be some laws in place.
I'm thinking more along the lines of making ALL laws uniform, like on a federal (national) level, instead of having each state come up with their own laws. I mean, this is the UNITED States of America.
The dictionary defines UNITED as:
Combined into a single entity.
Concerned with, produced by, or resulting from mutual action.
Being in harmony; agreed.

Let me see if I am clear on the situation:
1) What is being discussed is a peaceful march of law-abiding gunowners from all 50 states in Washington DC on 7/4/06.
NOTE:
"Law-abiding" with the confines of the District of Columbia means unarmed, which in itself is both a challenge and an opportunity.
2) The primary message is "The Second Amendment means what it says -- what part of 'shall not be infringed' don't you understand?"
3) The secondary message is "Politicians who agree with us are our friends, and we will help you. Politicians who don't agree with us are our enemies, and we will work against you using all legal tools at our disposal."
4) The tactical goal is to have as many 2A supporters as we possibly can gather for this "Patriots Act!" demonstration.
5) The strategic objectives are to
a) support our friends in Congress
b) demonstrate our unity and numbers to our enemies
c) lay the groundwork for gun control roll-back in 2006 forward
6) The ultimate objectives are:
a) removal of enforcement jurisdiction from BATFE
b) repeal of GCA68
c) federally-guaranteed unrestricted transport/possession of all firearms in all states/US territories
d) federally-guaranteed concealed-carry in all states/US territories
e) repeal of NFA34
f) revocation of all Executive Orders in violation of 2A
Let me know if this captures the plan to date.
