You can use any receiver that has never been built into a rifle, it doesn't have to be marked pistol but cannot ever have been a rifle. Just use any new receiver.

An AMD65 kit will do just fine, just don't attach a vertical grip on the front. A vertical grip on the front will make it an AOW. Bulges on the grip are okay as long as there is no vertical grip.

You don't need US parts to build a pistol. The US parts count is only if you build a rifle.

You can use a trunion from an underfolder if you don't drill the holes to attach the stock.

There is no weight limit and you can use a laser, scope, or any other accessory you want. Just don't attach a stock or a vertical front grip.

Correctamundo.

I have my dealer enter stripped receiver AND PISTOL on the 4473, checking the PISTOL block may not be necessary, but I have him do it anyway.

I bought one of those GI uzi shells and had it marked as a stripped pistol receiver. Gonna build it as a pistol and later short barrel rifle it.
