Hi guys,

I received a few requests for tapping my trunions to 10-32 thread so you guys can screw build your pistols easier. Nothing wrong with that.
My idea is, instead of tapping the existant holes myself (which I suck at), I would have the trunion left undrilled, that way you can drill the trunion and the rec at the same time for perfect hole alignment, as deep as you want and where you want, then tap yourself.
Let me know if this is a stupid idea or if you have any suggestions.
I will still offer the regular trunion too.
I'm leaving on vacation/business trip wed morning and won't be back to the board until late saturday the 13Th.
thanx.

That's a good idea for the experienced builder who has the drill press and other tools needed. But it may present a problem for some of the neewbie builders.

I'll take them either way. :)

Just get one of those from Global, OR, drill holes in a different place, like here:

I've been out in the HOT sun most of the day, but that doesn't even resemble a REAR pistol trunion.
