Marlin Model 1895M

Both rifles are chambered in the .450 Marlin caliber. The Winchester has an 18" barrel with a pistol-grip buttstock and the Marlin has an 18.5" barrel with a straight buttstock. Which would you prefer?

While I like the Marlin's more than the Winchesters, in this case that pistol grip stock would win the day. I vote Winchester. ;)

If you reload , get a .45-70 . Brass is more available and probably cheaper .
