Has anyone been able to further the website so we have a full space for this?
There are many people that want to come on board, but are being lame with the anti Gunsnet BS. Normally I would say screw em, but we need all that we can, and more importantly, need to come off as professional as possible.
Has anyone designed a site yet?

David (Guns Network Staff) is working on this for us.

I am meeting with Prometheus on 8/27 and will have more information after that. I 'm hoping that David can make that meeting too.

I see the new web site as the real kick-off. At that point, things will move ahead - state leadership, decisions as to dates, etc.

If you have indicated interest in state leadership or volunteering to help in that thread, then you will be contacted.

I know it is frustrating to wait, but this is being done part-time by folks with full-time jobs/families. Hey, the price is right! ;)

As I said in the first thread I build websites to if someone wants me to do it just give me an idea of the layout you want, and the details and I can wip one up within a few days really it's not difficult, or if someone is already working on one I can assist just let me know....

OK, I just spoke to David and I was under the wrong impression that he was working on a new site. He has offered help with this, but not been pursuing this - just a misunderstanding on my part.

So, I feel that we should just go forward using this forum and the hell with a new site for now. We are really very fortunate to have this forum.

If someone doesn't want to participate or join in the effort because it is being organized here, then they are probably not the type of person that we need.

See new post.

I beleive that it is a big mistake to not put up a website. We need everyone we can get.

a host site.

I have no idea how much cash it takes to launch a site - those with experience please enlighten. :)

Guns Network Staff would be the one to start with. If I remember correctly, I believe he's already registered appropriate domain names so to host would be the next logical step. He may not have the time to design the site so html/graphics people would be needed.

Looks like you already have a few volunteers, try and contact them so they can start their work. Once the hosting is figured out all you have to do is host it.
