Just got my 1911 and she rocks!

n reference to my other thread, http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=944767 ,I decided to go with the used Para-Ordnance P14-45. I spent $400 on it and it has the wide body for the high capacity magazines. She's all black and shoots like a dream.

Nice, you got a good deal, Gun looks new. I have 3 1911's, a Colt us Army issued A1 a Series 70 comander and a springfield GI champion. Love those 1911.

Thanx! It was a toss up between that one and a used Springfield GI Issue for $500. I spent about 20 min. haggling with the man at the pawn shop but he wouldn't budge. When I started in on the Para I guess he gave up on ther Para and let me have it for $400. It is definantly used (the pic is a bit misleading because the scratches dont show) but I think I got a good deal.

I just bought a used Springfield GI with all the goodies, and 2 mags. Has very little use, about 50 rounds throught it. Got it for $425.

I didn't think a got a great deal, but it seems like I did okay!
