Nope. All I got today was 800 rounds for my CZ52. I'm still waiting on the K98 and M48 cut down stock from Century too.
I'll post a report when it and the other stuff arrives.

My shooter turned out like this:

Humm . . . I see the dinged effect and the stains. Metal looks pretty good. Have you stuck a bullet in the muzzle? Is it showing a tight muzzle? Also does the rifleing still look square at the edges at the breech end or is it rounded off?
I'm trying to get a feel for the bore conditions. I'm thinking about putting some of these in stock after the show this weekend. A fiend that works with me is interested in one of the VG grades. Say did you post any pics of that one yet?

Shuetz, here is a picture of the VG+ Condition $179. rifle I bought. The wood is somewhat better but still has some scars on it. Let me get back to you about the bullet test thingy. I'll go check it.
EDIT: Put a 147gr .308 bullet in the muzzle. It's tight on both my rifles. I mean if you wanted to force it down the muzzle, good luck with a hammer. On the breach end the rifling is square and crisp. This is the case throughout the length of the barrel. The bore on these rifles are excellent+. Bright, shiney and crisp rifling.

Very nice. The VG condition one you have there looks good enough for the grading. Glad to hear the rifling is good and crisp, that gives pretty good validation that they should be good shooters and have lots of bore life left in them.
The Swiss definitely used these rifles a lot though not in war. Remember each Swiss man is in the Army from 18 to 45 years of age. They had to keep these arms in their homes and then take them to service each year over their term of Army eligibility. So ok, that's a 27 year obligation. So each ear for 27 years I think they have to go in for 2 weeks of service. Then there is the weekly shooting at the ranges which is optional, not required. Only an annual qualification firing is required if I'm remebering what they told me correctly. Because of that it's really no small wonder that most are kind of dinged up a bit.
I may just have to get one of the VG's for me too! That way I can save the more historically valuable rifle (if it ever freaking gets here!) with the matching bayo from getting worn out shooting it. Yea right, like with 65 + and climing in the collection I'm going to have time to shoot the barrel out of a K31 LOL! ;)

LOL....you would go broke shooting the barrel out of a K-31 if you're not a reloader. The cheap stuff is .30 a shot.

That cleaned up quite nicely. I'll be able to live with something like that and enjoy shooting it to boot!

That's exactly how I feel. If its too pretty I won't 'play' with it.
I like a weapon with some character !

Well I came home today and saw the dreaded attempted delivery notice from UPS. I was on the phone trying to arrange for a pick up tomorrow when someone knocked on the door and lo and behold the UPS driver had come back. What a guy. I had talked to him yesterday and told him what time I usually got home. I'll have to give him a Christmas tip.
Anyway, I got my shooters grade K31. Pretty darned nice for a shooters grade. My stock has two good dings in it but the color is more like your excellent condition rifle above. It's got more of the blonde color. The buttstock has the discoloration too though. But it's going to clean up great. The metal is about 80-85% just wear near the muzzle, some on the receiver. No rust, clean chamber, barrel is quite bright and crisp. All matching numbers of course.
Looks like I got about the same as you did rifleman without any rusting.
It also came with a sling attached. I don't see any on your rifles, did you take them off or not put them on?
No name and address under the buttplate though :(
I'm very pleased. Now I need to get some of that surplus 7.5 ammo. Let us know if you hear AIM gets some in please!

Well I got a sling on my $109. rifle along with the muzzle cap. They screwed me on the sling on my $180. rifle though. No cap on that one either. In all honesty, the sling that came with it is a POS. Looks like if you put it on the gun and throw it over your shoulder it would break because of dryrot. Not to impressive.
I think SOG has extra slings for sale. I'll see what condition they are in and buy a couple if the price is right.
I'm working on buying a bayonet for sure and maybe a Walnut stock set.

Yeah the sling isn't anything to write home about. I would have rather got my little note in the buttstock.
I cant wait to shoot it. The sights look like they'd be pretty easy to adjust for windage RM. It's weird how they sit in that slanted dovetail though.
These things really grow on you. I can see why you went back and got a second one. I think I'll go fondle mine some more :D

Wow...I would post that baby on the swissrifles.com forums. http://pub55.ezboard.com/bcollectorguns35625 There are guys over there from Switzerland that could maybe tell what the hell that one says.
Here is my second tag. And here is the part of that web site that may be able to help you figure it out.
