A friend and I just bought new AR's a couple weeks ago. What brand of ammo is prefered and where can I get the best deal online?

Federal American Eagle & S & B are good but expensive. For general shooting, I use Lake City & Wolf. I prefer the Lake City over Wolf.
Online purchases? Try Sportsmans Guide or Ammoman.

I hear the steel cases of wolf go hard on the AR extractors, but I don't have any first hand expieriances.
