I have a chance of buying one for $125.00...
Question, Are these origional, or did alter from 8mm?
I am unfirmiler with these, I am sure its Turkish because it has the same markings as my Turkish Mouser...
Help? Can anyone tell me about this military weapon?

salem shooter, are you able to post a picture of this lever action rifle? Sure would help in trying to properly identify it.

Sorry, This is a bolt action, 308 Turkish by the looks of the markings simular
to my Turkish Mouser in 8mm. I will try to get a photo.
It was kinda late when I posted this, my error it's not a lever action. its bolt.

salem shooter, many early Turkish Mausers were actually chambered in the 7.65x53mm Mauser caliber. Many of these rifles were later converted to be rechambered in 8x57mm Mauser. The later Turkish Mauser rifles were originally chambered in the 8x57mm Mauser caliber. If you have one chambered in .308 Win. then someone has made a few changes on their own. I would still like to see a picture of your rifle if possible.
