Contender or Lone Eagle?

Which is a better Hunting firearm overall... The Contender or the Lone Eagle?

Contender is my pick. Barrels are more plentiful, more calibers and you don't need a permit to buy a barrel. The Lone Eagle barrels have the serial number and must be registered...pain in the butt...........just my 2 cents worth

I would have to agree with partssman. There are so many Contender barrels, factory & custom, available today. You'll have to search much harder for a barrel for the Lone Eagle. And I believe all of these will be factory, nothing custom. I would definitely go with the Contender.

the contender would be the better choice. you have alot of caliber choices. i have a encore with 44 mag @ 45-70 handgun barrels they both shoot as good as you can hold them. then when muzzle loading season open i change to the muzzle loader barrel wayne9
