I am very interested in putting one on my M4. I have not had the chance to see it in person so if anyone has one or has handled one I would appreciate ant input before I fork out for one. Thanks.

I'm in the same boat as you. I've been following the MIAD since the CAD drawings were released as a possible prototype. Just haven't gotten around to dropping the cash for one yet. The Hogue works fine for me. When I get around to doing another lower, I'll buy a MIAD for it though.

Curious if anyone has any input. From what I've heard on the "other" forums is it's a very nice comfortable grip. The final version is also a lot sturdier than the pre-production models. So make sure you get a new version.

I'm going to get one for mine, although, Im not sure how to ensure it is the "newer" model. I guess I have not been following it for aas long as you have. I saw it for the first time a couple weeks ago in the Diamondback Tactical catalog, it kicks ass, pricey though. Appreciate it, thanks. I also hope some one will pipe up about the MIAD.

Give us a report when you get one.

Also curious about them.

along with a Badger Ordinance tactical latch, but they were both backordered so I you all will probably have to wait a while for my review. I will post when it gets here. I ordered one in black that comes with three back straps and three for the front, one of which has the magpul profile trigger guard. It also comes with the grip carrier that holds three extra rounds of ammo. I guess being on backorder is a decent way to most likely getting a newer version.

I just ordered one as well. I'll also give a report of when I get it.

Recieved mine today, and my first impressions were not so good. Felt really funky to say the least, like there was a serious bulge.

After I stuck it on the rifle though, it felt perfect. Must of been the positioning.

Seeing as how it was plastic, I wasn't too trusting of it, so I took a swack at it with a hammer, and it didn't bust so Kudos for polymer!

I'll save the rest of my judgements for after a range trip, but so far it's hit #1 on my grip list with the notched front strap and the medium backstrap.

:D with those first few lines anyway.

Let us know how it works at the range.

Mine is still on backorder, but I'll post when it arrives and is on the rifle. One of the pieces in the kit I ordered is supposed to have their trigger guard attached to one of the front straps. The trigger guard looks pretty interesting too. Did your set come with that piece, and if so what is your impression?

The trigger guard on the full kit, which you bought is made of plastic. I have a magpul winter trigger guard thats made of alluminum. I'm very skeptical of plastic :D It's the same design, only stronger.

I do like the added room though. It also adds a nice styling line to the rifle for those that are into making it look as cool as it shoots. I bought it for gloves, because it gets chilly in Oregon during the wet winter.

I knew mine it was plastic, but the design appears to be pretty similar and if they are made right it should still be durable. If not I'll put the original one back on it, or step up to your Aluminum one. Stuff is still on backorder.

Yes I do like the look too.

The trigger guard isn't in a spot that's easily damaged or struck. If anything hits, it'll be the mag or the grip.

I wouldn't worry much at all using plastic. Most parts kits include plastic trigger guards instead of alluminum ones.

Id rather have a plastic one anyway. If something hits the plastic hard enough, it will break and be out of the way. If you hit something hard enough to bend an aluminum one, you may just have a usless rifle if it binds the trigger unless it isnt bent so bad to keep it from being removed. But that is still time you would be vulnerable.

They kept pushing back the ship date so I figured I'd take my business elsewhere. I will still get one, but there were not any at my local gunshow the weekend before last. I'll keep looking until I find one or just break down and order one off the net again.
