Reposted from the GD forum I thought a few here might want an update as these are C&R.......
Here's a link to the site I moderate over at Gunboards that has some neat pic's of IO yugo SKS's. They do look to be in EXC shape and have the accessories with them. I know alot of talk has been bantered about about these and if, when and what shape they will show up in. It's been a long wait and hopefully they will live up to the expectations, $250-300 is a good price on one of these.

Oh man...now I got wood. Those babies look great.
I canceled my I/O order because AIM says they are getting them. I sure hope the ones AIM gets are in that condition.

Those are just the VG's. My Like New is in a suite at the Hilton resting in a climate controlled container until the UPS Limo delivers it to me on Thursday. :D
Seriously, I'm in the same zone as I/O so I should have mine Thursday or Friday if they ship Wednesday. The two cases of 7.62x39 I ordered form Classic Arms should be here the same day. I'm talking 3/4 chubby come this weekend.

I couldn't help myself. I just had to. I called to see if my order shipped a few minutes ago. I didn't tell them anything but my zipcode and name. The lady, who was very nice as a matter of fact, told me my order shipped on the 14th, yesterday. She then said, "Oh you got one of the Yugo's". Dam skippy I got a Yugo. I guess I'll make up a duty roster for the neighbors to stand BBT watch. Better ask the daughter to skip college today and stay on the porch. A man's gotta have priorities don't he?:D

It seems like quite a stretch to sell a Yugo for the price of a Romanian, weren't these selling for $400 at their cheapest last time? I guess anything is possible. Seems more like a marketing ploy though. Still I'll grab another one if they are. Can't have too many guns. I doubt I'll feel as bad about spending $300 as the guys who spent $1200 are feeling.

Man I hope that -$100. is right. $149. and $199. for the Yugo SKS would be awesome.

No BBT today. My Brownells order was supposed to arrive but tracking says it was rescheduled for tomorrow. I hope my Yugo shows up tomorrow, the anticipation is killing me. I've only gotten next day from Classic Arms on a MAS 36 so maybe second day is the best I can expect from most others. Tomorrow is a whole new day.

Called AIM today and ordered a Excellent VZ24/47. Chris I think it was said the SKSs were about two weeks out but it might take as long as four. Christmas Present to self.

A blast from the past... :)
In Feb of 2001 I saw a Yugo sell for $800, in april we started getting info these were coming over and many at the time were predicting they would never be allowed in. It's been quite a ride....and prices are low and supply is up.

It's depressing enough to look at one of mine that's in NRA "ratty ass" condition that I paid around $160 for back before the prices really started falling.:(
