An 8mm bullet is .323 diameter I think, so anything close to that should work OK. I would use a 308 bore brush cause thats what I have.

I used a .38 bore brush the other day and it worked OK. My .308 bronze brushes seem to sear out too quick. I could only get a little resistance in my 8mm and after a couple cleanings in my 7.62 they get loose real quick. I wonder if stainless steel would last longer but maybe be too hard on the bore? I also tend to use my brushes for the next size down when they wear out. Everything for my 47 will soon clean my 74.

After I get inside her I just sit still for a minute or two until she can expand a little to accomidate the wide load she's carrying.
You see I've always felt that patience in these situations is.....Oh wait a minute...your asking about gun stuff. Sorry.
I got a cleaning kit with my Yugo M48 that I use has a brass brush. If I'm lazy I'll just use one of the many AK kits I have laying around.

Man I like the grain in your stock. That's one of the better ones I've seen. Mine is nice but not so grainy.
