Just wondering if these shotguns are worth trying for shooting trap or skeet? They're 12 guage just like any other, so wouldn't they work just as good? Also, can somebody post some pics of these as I've only seen a couple. Any info would help a lot!
Where to buy?
How much?
Different types?
etc?

One disadvantage to using Saigas to shoot skeet with is that the sights are "elevated", due to the Kalashnikov action. You aren't looking down the top of the barrel as you are with other shotguns. I guess this is really minor as I know that there are some guys that use these shotguns to shoot skeet with. I haven't shot much skeet in my time, so I don't know if it's really that big of a factor or not, just thought I'd throw that out there. I love my Saiga 12! AKATTACK

I gave $285.00 for mine, but that's before EAA stopped importing them. There's a new company going to start importing them VERY soon, should be available by the end of October. I heard that they are supposed to be a little higher than they used to be, we'll have to see. AKATTACK

Here ya go: http://www.raacfirearms.com/test/index.htm. They are trying to ramp-up importation. From what I've heard, they will not be selling to individual FFL holders(your local gunstore), they will be selling to distributors, which is where the FFL holders will acquire them from and then finally to you. I shoot trap with it at least twice a month and get some decent scores, and strange looks from the guys with the expensive over/under. :yeah:

Yes, there is a lot of money in those mags (that' what happens hen rusmilitary doubles your order :yeah: )but who is counting, with all those loaded, 150 shells doesn't last very long at all.
Overheating, I try everytime to no avail.

Holy crap that looks expensive...I can't wait to get my Saiga-12 (next gun purchase) but looks like I'm going to have to wait until the new importer starts up and the prices drop...
