What brand scopes are good? I'm itching to get a scope for my CETME, but I don't know what brand. Some brands seem to offer comparable features, with almost a 5 or 10x price difference.
Simmons, redfield, Leapers, target sports, tasco? Any of those worth anything? Thanks for any help.

Personally, I prefer Leupold (http://www.leupold.com/home_flash.htm). And for the best prices you'll want to check out http://www.riflescopes.com/. Just my $0.02.

Thanks for the input steve. Couldn't get the second link to work, but CDNN has some leupold scopes and they're prices are usually really good. I need to buy some mags and other things from them as well.

Everything I own that I care about has Leupold, or is moving in that direction however I have heard very wonderful things about Unertl.
I had a Redfield on a 10/22. I was pleased with it, but somehow the horizontal crosshair broke?? So, I wont be using THAT company again.

:handgun: Have a Kahles on my .270, and on my .375 Ultra-Mag. Can't brag enough on either one. Costs a bit more, sees a lot more. The only one I've seen that I liked better was a Swarovski, and I really don't want to spend that much.
I have a Schmidt und Bender 3-12x50 PMII LR on my PGWDTI Timberwolf, in .338LM, a Leupold Mk4 16x on PGWDTI Coyote, in .308, a Leupold 6.5-20x40 on my Rem 700 in .308.
