Actually the problem is 99% probable that it isn't the ejector it's the spring that powers the ejector to kick out when the bolt is pulled back.
This is a leaf spring inside the bolt release housing. Have you pulled that part out and cleaned the cosmoline out of it yet? Sometimes cosmoline will prevent them from functioning properly.
Other times the leaf spring has broken off. The spring is part of the bolt retainer ejector housing. The little retangular thing that you pull out on to get the bolt out of the action. Anyway, if you examine the little retangular piece after it's removed you'll see that it is made up of two pieces. The body is a box with a tongue and groove fit up with the second piece. That piece forms the outside edge of the box shape of the bolt retainer / ejector housing. No way to just replace the leaf spring you have to replace the whole part, that is the flat piece that has the leaf attached to it.
Ok in the Numerich Arms / a.k.a Gun Parts Catalogue on page 436 the exploded diagram shows part #11b. This is described as "Ejector Spring and bolt stop cover", Item 5850, price of $14.00.

Dear Sirs-I'm going out on a limb here, but before replacing any parts make sure that your gasport is clean.Although they are about .030 diameter,if clogged enough you can have problems.I've only seen this happen with an SVT-40,but they have adjustable gas ports. Also, are you using Combloc Steelcase ammo?Would not ask,but sometimes SKS's and AK's feed better with that than the US stuff.Plus, the US primers can be more sensitive with inertial firing pins. These are just suggestions.I would try different ammo and make certain that everything is COMPLETELY clean of cosmoline before replacing parts. The Turk Mausers have a tendency to misfire if you do not COMPLETELY clean out the channel that the firing pin rides in.And you'd be amazed at how hard Comoline can get after many years. My .02 worth:)-Gearhead.

DOooooooohhhhh!Sorry about that .I had just read the Yugo SKS post and was thinking SKS's when I replied.Shuetzenman is right.Check the ejector spring to ensure it's clean. If it is, buy another ejector spring. They are kind of difficult to replace at first, but you'll get the hang of it.My bag on the brainfart:)-Gearhead.
