Yugo SKS rifle report.

Saw some of the IO used Yugo SKS rifles at Classic ARms tables. Geeze these things are swimming in Cosmoline. Next observation is that the finish was well worn on the metal. Stocks has handling dings. IMO they were about the condition of the $150 Romanians that were on the market a year ago. Not too impressed but these are NOT the new ones. Repeat NOT the new ones. Price was $249.95

On a similar note a buddy from over around Statesville NC went down to IO on Friday and purchased a new one. He said he saw it and fell in love. So out came the $300+ but he's a happy camper.

I'm hoping like all get out that AIM gets some new ones. If not I'm gonna have to call up I/O I guess.

Over at gunboards is a post that Lew Horton has them. Same price as I/O but I believe without any accessories. LH does not sell to C&R FFL holders. I saw another post somewhere that AIM will have the LN & VG for $50 under I/O's price. Just rumor at the moment but $50 under the importers price by a distributor seems within reason. I believe that LH also listed a Good grade coming soon for something like $200. I may be wrond on this.
