Has anyone seen one of the PPsH41 kits Centerfire Sstems has for sale??
If so, what condition are they in, and remembering the IO debacle of a few years ago, do they have the front trunion in-tact (which resulted in personal visits from the BATF to those who purchased the same from IO), or are they missing or torch cut? Speaking of torch cut, this gets back to the condtion quiestion: How or where were they cut and what do they look like??

I didnt order the 41 kit but I did receive one of their PPS43 kits. Kit condition is new - saw cut. They cut the trunnion area of the receiver out completely. The shroud out front is complete. Easier to show you then tell you. heres a pic

I haven't seen the parts kit yet. You can purchase 1 80% receiver blank ($110) as well as a barrel trunion ($40) from Steelsolutions. (I hope I got the name right).
The trunion is completely machined.

My three PPS43 magazines arrived yesterday along with my Tokarev ammo.
Those are nice, solid magazines.
Unfortunately one of the feed lips was broken (nearly off).
Waiting to hear back from Centerfire Systems about an exchange.
Hoping to have doubletapme modify a Romy into a Tokarev Bizon-clone.
I hope you'll post pix of the completed weapon, if you do build it, Tokarev/Walter.
BTW, how long is the barrel on it?

Question: You indicate they cut the front trunion area completely out of the kit? My question is therefore: Is this kit builtable as a semi-auto firearm?? I mean, if the area is cut out, can the front trunion be reinstalled securely and safely??
I don't mean to seem simple, but just concerned.

After the last mess with the PPSH kits im sure the importer is not taking any chances
The front trunnion on a PPSH is really just a hardened thick washer that holds the barrel in place..
Keep in mind that other than the IO gun that were real lemons years ago there is not
an approved semi design out yet..
