While scanning thru Century Arms Barrel Menu I noticed:

http://www.centuryarms.com/store/index.html

<<<<<These custom made rifle barrels will turn your 98 Mauser large ring action into a real "game getter!" Build your own custom gun or convert that shot-out sewer pipe into a sleek bulls-eye bustin’ beauty! We had these barrels made in the popular (((((((7.62x39 caliber))))) or .30-06. Our barrels are shipped "in-the-white" so you decide what finish you want. What are you waiting for? Pick you caliber and get ready for a real "barrel of fun". Should be installed by a competent gunsmith.>>>>

Has anyone done this yet?

If so, what was the result re:performance vs expectations and final costs?
