Saw one of these the other day. Anyone know anything about them? These looked very nice, no comparison to the Century abomination M-1s I've seen lately.

heard they had new stock, mil-spec reciver, and used USGI parts...not a bad deal

found out the used USGI parts are VG-EX, and taken from the Beretta Garands
new walnut stock, supposedly from the same contractor the served the US Military

Thanks. I think I definitely see one of these in my future. The shop that had these also had like-new M-48's, Vz-24's, Turks, and a Walther P-1 (P-38) W. German Police surplus. Of course I want them all, but have to settle for a little at a time.

I got a flyer from Springfield armory that they are going to doing a run of Garands built on a new receiver and GI parts in Excellent condition. Price is going to be up around $800 retail.
