Anybody have any experience with these two brands of uppers? I'm thinking of using one on a Mega receiver for a build.

Check out my noob question on kit suppliers under "Build Your Own". Looks like Model 1 has some questions, but J&T Distributing gets thumbs up. I've been looking at M&A myself for my build on a Stag lower. I'm sure some of the more experienced builders here will clue us in.

I have 4 MEGAs, they are pretty good, I dont see a huge difference receiver wise. Unless you really want a Bushmaster and want to wait and pay for it, MEGA is just as good.

Have a CAR15 Model 1. Excellent fit. You'll need to clean it though. I mean like take the port cover off clean.... :(

How much is a model 1 kit? RRA has 16" kits for $620.00 chrome moly/ $660.00 for chrome lined.(suggested retail) This is every thing but a stripped lower.
