For all you in doubt, I thought I would post some closer looks at the parts and the cuts of my kit from Centerfire Systems.
The whole kit:

The trunnion and pivot pin cut. I think this can be rebuilt with a good welder:

The barrel. Its virtually unfired. The only evidence of being fired is the buffer has a little bit of nicks in it.

The front sight barrel shroud cut. I wonder why this cut is necessary ? This too can surely be fixed by an accomplished welder:

It really does suck that we can't just make this semi and keep the open bolt design. It would make conversion so much easier. I know, big brother don't want us civilians to have a ready convertable sub machine gun. :losingit:
