I live in New Mexico and I’m preparing to take my CCW class.
I was just wondering if anyone knows about the laws concerning action type and caliber.
I know that here you can qualify with the largest caliber and action and be able to carry anything smaller in caliber with the same action.
My question is: What actions are considered? I know Semi-Auto and Revolver, but what about Derringer, NFA Full-Auto’s, and AOW’s.
Do these fall into either the Semi-Auto or Revolver group, or do they have there own category, or can they not be carried legally?
Thanks
