Catchy title, lol.
I decided to try a different product today. Its called Tru-Oil made by Beachwood Casey. I applied SEVERAL coats on one of my Suomi stocks and one of my Yugo handguards. I had stripped and bleached the wood prior. I am getting these upcoming builds ready.
I dunno if you can tell or not but this wood looks and feels almost like glass which is what I was going for. I also tried my hand at bluing on the yugo forend. I will buff it more tommorrow and apply some more blue. I want it shiny too.
I am very happy with the results.
