Any plumbers out there?

So I (actualy my brother) replaced the faucet assembely in the first floor bathroom a few weeks ago... It was a pain in the ass to say the least, but we got it done. After it was finished and we turned the water back on and checked the faucet we were a bit surprised to see that the flow of water was not as strong as it had been before. No worries, it was strong enough for a bathroom sink so I passed it off. WELL as time has gone on, the flow has becom weaker and weaker until now it is BARELY a trickle. It is happening with both the cold and hot water handles/source so it cant be the new supply lines we put in (I think anyway) and the faucet is brand new out of the box. None of the other water fixtures in the house are displaying the same problem. Now I have a sink in the bathroom that I cant use as opposed to the old faucet that I couldnt turn off all the way. Cant ANYTHING be easy? It is a two handle faucet and I am perplexed... Any ideas what I might have done wrong? Any help is appreciated!

Remove the aereator (sp). You probably dislodged some crap during the installation or some teflon tape or pipe dope has gotten into it and blocked it. Just unsrcew it with a towel or pliers with a paper towel over the jaws. You should always remove it when you install a new faucet and run water from both sides before putting it back on. If it is clogged just take it apart, (pay attention when you do) and rinse it out. HTH

You may have had the same thing happen to a kink in the new water lines you put on. Rare but it has happened.

Everyone should try some "minor" plumbing once just so you can cross it off your list as something you will never do again.....
I never seen even the simple jobs go as planned, just my experience.

Once again I prove how much of a dumb fok I can be... Sure enough, I take off the aireator and not only is there an accumulation of crap on it but it has one of those landlord disks on it too that obstructs the flow even when there is no junk! I got me enough pressure now to blast a wart off a whore! YEEHAAAAWWWWWWWWW!!! Thanks RC!
