any other markings on it.I see you got a sight hood,how's the rifling?

1. Only other markings so far are serial numbers. I will take her apart for a good cleaning and see if any other markings show up. Bore is packed in gungrease. Looks smooth with no pitting. I'll have to really clean it to know though. Willpost Saturday with more details.:)

1. I can barely see proofstamps just infront of the Yugo crest. At first I thought they were slavic writing but under a magnifying glass they appear to be two (believe it or not) lightening bolts. I also have waffenfabrik k-98 stamped on barrel below just in front of the bayonet lug. I think this is a for real curio. I will try to get a picture in the am with sunlight. The flash keeps glaring on the proofstamps.

Yep, you sure did. They must have screwed up my order until they ran out of them because I had ordered mine on Oct 29th. Those pricks! Glad you got one though. Oh well, I'll just pick up a Nazi one made in Germany to spite you guys :D

I took a chance and ordered one today, I hope to get a SS model too! I plan on getting mine before REDSTAR!:D

I made the mistake of ordering ammo and some other small stuff with mine. For some reason they put those on hold because they have to dig the stuff up or something. Ah well, I hope you get a good one like neilwest.

1. found stamps in front of receiver that looks like lightening bolts, also on buttplate, I will take trigger gaurd and floorplate off Monday afternoon and see if there are anymore.:cool:
