Yo...I just bought a number #4 Mk 1. Any site that has a complete breakdown procedure (hopefully with pictures) ? I want to take it out on Sunday.
Peace

Here's a Enfield manual : http://www.biggerhammer.net/manuals/lee-enfield/Leeenf.pdf
Here's the link to tons of other manuals at the same site:

Here's a link with some more info on stripping:

REDSTAR: Thanks for the links. I've been searching all over for someplace that had an on-line manual for the Enfields.
I have an old SMLE (Type1 Mark IV - .22 trainer) and I was going nuts trying to figure out how to get the bolt out.
Just another benefit of belonging to AK-47.net I guess. Later.

bobcat- glad to help.
The manual is a tad cheesy but that's the only one I've ever been able to find. I need to pick up that Enfield 'for collectors' book from Tapco next time I order something.

Thanks Redstar. Jay Currah (?) has an Enfield site with a breakdown for #4's as well.
