I am collecting military bolt carbines and trying to get
one from each country.
I have the following:
Greece: MS 03/14
Poland: M 44
Russia: M 38
Germany: Kar 88
Sweden: 94/14
Switzerland: K11
Iran/Persia: M 30 and M 49
Moroco: FN in 7.62 Nato
Holland: Steyr 03 New Model # 3
France: Berthier 92/16/27
Italy: 91 TS
England: Number 5 Jungle Carbine
Romania: M 44
Austria: M95 Steyr
All of these are matching and at least 85 percent or better
except the Swedish which is mismatched and excellent.
None are for sale: but will be happy to compare notes and
some pictures. Best.

This is an Interarms Import from the late 50s and
60s. The date was removed from the receiver and
the carbine was marked "Interarms 33/50
caliber is 6.5 x 55. the serial number and inspector
marks are correct for a 1917 Carl Gustoff 94/14

Sveet Svede!
You are lacking carbine from Spain. I'd highly recommend a FR8 or a Destroyer Carbine.
The Destroyers shoot the 9mm Largo, so they're pretty much only good out to 50 meters but lots of fun.
Nice diverse collection.

I have the following
Spanish 1917 Mauser
German/Yogo K-98 (Sorry Redstar):)
Lee Enfield #1
Lee Enfield #5
Springfield 03 1907 (Low # damn it)
1. I have posted these at various times. You might consider the Spanish Mauser (Carbine) next. 7mm and nice collectors piece.

In order for a carbine to interest me it must meet
my definition of a bolt military carbine.
1. It must shoot a full caliber military cartridge.
2. It must be a short version of a full size military rifle
3. It must have been issued to regular military or paramilitary forces.
The K98 Mauser and the Springfield would not be carbines under
my definition because they were short rifles. No longer rifle of that design was in service at the time.
In in German 98, I am looking for DOT 33/40 carbine.
For the U.S. I would need Krag carbine.
The FR8 was a mauser conversion for familialization with the Cetme/HK sighting system. The distroyer carbine is a pistol caliber.
For Spain I would want a 93 or 95 calvary carbines or a 1916 true carbine. These are solely based on what I like to shoot and collect. As my wife says there must a limit to this (where)
