I have owned 2 9mm ARs. Both have been OLY. 1St one was a OLY upper on a DPMS lower the 2nd was a complete 9mm OLY. Both ran flawlessly. Do any of you own a pistol cal AR? Colt style ,OLY style?

I don't own one, but I've been pondering the idea for a long time.
I think my biggest thing against them is the no bolt-hold-open, but from what I hear the RRA conversion as well as the Colt conversion can make it happen with the right parts.
The Oly Arms lowers that utilize Glock mags always sparked an interest as well.
Happen to have pictures of these pistol caliber AR's?

The Colt mags will hold the bolt open. I would love to own a Colt 9mm AR. But the Colt AR15 and Sporter are banned in Connecticut. Go figure, You can buy it in the state it is made it. Anyway, I'm not concerned with the bolt hold open issue as my OLY is just a range gun. I run Sten mags with a socom block. It's a pretty ordinary looking gun just have an ace skeleton stock and the OLY muzzle break. When I can get the digital camera away from my Daughter I'll try and take and post some pictures.
I have had a lot of fun running 9mm as ammo is not that expensive. Sten mags are cheap. I though about doing a Colt Style conversion before I went the OLY route but didn't want to replace the hammer on my lower and have to play with buffers and possible other issues. Just want to shoot and not tinker.
