1. I have a 1914 Erfurt with the Kaiser crown and Eagle proofstamps. I changed the grips to a newer pair and saved the old ones as they were worn pretty bad. But they are kept to display. 95% condition.

Do any of you fire your Lugars? I've always wanted one but I can't stand having a firearm I can't shoot. Do they hold up?

1. Ive been collecting for awhile. and Yes the Lugar is a joy to fire. Mine is a 9mm. I dont fire it much because it is a collectors item but you can get shooters for around 400-600 dollars, and believe me they are fun. They are very durable. But then again anything you can make go bang is fun:p

A few years back I bought a Russian re-blued, all # matching BYF 42 for $400. I agree it's fun to shoot, if one want's a good gun collection a Luger is a" have to have".

1. My corrent project is building a Galil from parts. Receiver has been ordered and parts comming from SARCO. A couple of us are involved. We are checking barrels out now. Twist rate seems to be a concern. Check Galil forum from time to time. We should be done in a couple of weeks.:D
