It seems like I'm not alone in my concern about Robinson Armaments dedication to their products and customers. The M96 is a very good example of what I think will happen to the XCR once people have spent the money on the weapon. There are also a nomber of features that seem like common sense that Robarm has not included. They like to emphasize the ability of the XCR to switch calibers, yet they arranged the lower receiver so that it only accepts AR mags, They could have easily used a lower similar to the M96 so that the mag-well could be replaced with one to accept AK mags as well. The lower is desinged to look a lot like an AR, yet they chose NOT to use the AR trigger group, so Custom triggers or using replacement parts from the already plentiful supply of AR parts. Also, I've noticed that the stock they use looks like an exact copy of the Skeleton stock from ACE ltd. yet they did not bother to use the ACE adapter system to allow using different stocks or customizing your weapon. I do like the fact that they improved the barrel attatchment by adding a tension set screw instead of a lever like the M96, but other than that, I can not really see any improvement over the previous system. I have made a list of features that would improve this weapon and have been working on a design that would incorporate all of said features. Anyone have any additional suggestions on what they would like to see on a new Robinson Armament style rifle?
