Need info on Arggie M1909

I bought one a few months ago. The seller says it is not 8MM. What is it then? The one I have is a beauty. All numbers match including the ones on the cleaning rod and muzzle cap.

Unless the gun was altered, the caliber is 7.65
x 53 or 54 depending on what source you use.

This 7.65 Arg. was also used by Belgeum
military. David.
