Should be getting my C&R in 30 days or so since it has been 30 days (sheesh!). Anyway, first purchase will be the obligatory 8mm mauser. After seeing cobras 39M, I was impressed and added that to the want list.
What other cool, interesting, fun, historically important or otherwise, guns would you guys recommend.
ALSO, are there full-auto C&R guns that can be purchased with standard C&R license? Don't think so but have to ask.
Thanks in advance.

1. Look back and you will see a thread on the Lee-Enfields. The #1 and #5 I have. Nice guns. Also look into the Springfields and the Turkish Mausers.

M39 for sure
Yugo SKS
Romanian SKS
K31 Swiss Schmidt Ruben
Enfield #1 Mk III and or #4 MkI and or #5 Jungle Carbine
FR8 Spanish Carbine .308
To get a full auto C&R you still have to have the form 4 approved, pay your $200 tax, get the fingerprints and pictures and LEO sign off. The cheapest C&R full autos are around 3K for a Sten. Something like an AR18 will run you 6-8K.

Also the Finish M39 (Sako, SKY, VKT, "B" Barrel, etc) can still be found in VG+ condition. Very nice and accurate rifle for the money.
