Is this a good deal on 223 ammo? From what I have seen at some different places it looks like it might be, but I am new to this, so I'm not sure

It seems like it is from the other sites I compared it too. With shipping, this would come in at just under $200 for 1000 rounds of brass case ammo. Most other places seem to be at about $225 to $250. Thanks!

Do a search on XM855 and specifically XM855PD ammo.

Theres a few threads in the history of this forum that talk about bent cases, cracked necks, and bullets pushed past the cannelure.

While 95% of this ammo is safe to fire. The bulk packed PD ammo(which is what you posted about) should be handsorted prior to firing.
