Ok, I want to get a SVT-40 next!!!! What is known about these, and does anyone have one????? Who is selling them and an averacge price???? I know....... I ask alot. God.... I love that 54R. 8dDUCE.

7.62x54
fairly accurate, were sometime used as sniper rifles, scope mounts are available
a very nice gun if you can find them around, most I have seen go for about $550

Dear Sirs-A buddy of mine had an SVT-40 that he bought for around $250.00.It had the AVT stock,with a notch on either side for the select fire switch.The gasport adjusting wrenches are around$30.00 or so from Mark Kubes,if he still carries them.The magazines can be $.Finnbear used to have some.Had to use an SKS instrument tubing T-tool to adjust the front sight post.Very little kick for the 7.62 x 54R.A very esoteric piece.My buddy finally sold his for around $350.00,I think.The accessories on this gun can kill you!My .02 worth:)-Gearhead.
