I sold my M96

"Reluctantly, I just sold my M96 Recon. I did this due to the lack of support by Robinson Arms for this rifle with no parts or accessories available. The last nail in the coffin was the Shot Show where I stopped by the Robinson booth only to find that THERE WERE NO M96'S ON DISPLAY AT ALL!!!!

Alex was there still trying to peddle the XCR just like he did at last years show, but I really felt that it was a hard slap in the face to all of the M96 owners out there that paid $1000.00+ of their money to purchase one of these rifles only for them to be quietly phased out in only a relatively short time. Logan assured me that the M96 was still going to be in production and parts and accessories will be available soon, however, I will believe it when I see it.

I loved my M96 and I feel that it was a wonderful refinement of the Stoner 63 but I don't like the fact that there is no customer support and it appears that any future developments such as caliber conversions are not going to happen.

Maybe I "jumped the gun" a little, but if Robinson puts the M96 back in full production and accessories/parts become plentiful, I will definitely buy another".

Am late in game but perhaps if the sobs can make belt feed system similar to Vectors RPD the rifle have new life, it be also nice if some one gets off the ass and classifies it as m16 family system so some us NFA owners with RDIAS can shot it FA but that’s dream and XCR is harsh reality

I used to purchase alot of guns thru Robinson Arms for my store. We have been waiting almost two years for delivery of a M96 scout rifle, still hasn't arived. These clowns demanded a $600 deposit to get on the list for the XCR, after 7 months I requestd my deposit refunded. As far as folding stocks for the verp and a hicap 308 vepr mags. Good fricking luck......I have been told that they would be ready in two months...........since oct 2004. I think these folks have to many irons in the fire and can't seem to finish any thing they start. Needless to say, we won't be doing buisness with them any more.
