I wanna c some nice M44 pics!!!!!

I just got my first C&R rifle last week..........sweet, an in arsenal wrap russian M44.....I know M44's are about as common as 9mm handguns but not in the condition I got mine in, the bore is in un-fired perfect condition and all of the metal looks great and the wood is probably as nice as it could be considering how old the M44's are! I'd really like to c some pics of some nice looking M44's. I was also wondering what the best thing is to get the wax residue off of the wood without damaging the finish (I'm sure I could think of plenty of things but I'd rather hear from the experts)?? I'm sending the papers and check for the C&R license this week and can't wait to get it! I'm not sure exactly how long 22LR ammo has been around (I'm assuming a long time) but I was wondering if there's a good semi-auto or single shot/bolt action C&R 22lr rifle and/or pistol to get, considering I have like 5000rds of good Remington 22LR ammo It would be nice to have another nice plinking/target pistol and/or rifle!!!

The Romanian .22 M1969 training rifle was sold as C&R by some places and not at others so I don't know what's up with that. It's not on the list, but then again alot of stuff isn't on the list. These are neat plinkers for about $70 shipped if you can find one.

There's also a .22 single shot M44 look alike made in Poland that are supposed to be nice. I've been wanting one of them.

Nice pics gentleman........My Russian M44 is the yellow stain like whos2kno's....not that yellow but basically the same, it has some of the light brown lines in the wood but the stock still looks great and the bore and barell are in un-fired/perfect comdition.......If I can't find a good deal on the new production 7.62x54R non-corrosive like the Wolf I don't know if I'm ever gonna fire it...lol........I don't like to clean my guns EVERY single time I shoot but I take damn good care of them, well it won't matter either way because if I don't stop buying guns right before X-MAS I won't be able to buy ANY ammo anyway.
