1. Actually they are better off. They need to get away from all those computer games and go outside to get some fresh are. Whittle something.

2. I never could find Navy Arms for those mags you told me about for the #5 Jungle Carbine. Give me link if you can.;)

1. Numrichs is high but they always have what you need. They are owned by the same company that owns KAHR and now Auto-Ordnance.

2. Got two magazines and bayonet for my #5

3. Got sling, bayonet, frog and scabbard from Century for my K-98 along with the M-39. I think I'm broke until next year now.

Actually Numrich had owned Auto ordinance for years (Numrich is in my county- Ulster near Woodstock NY).

KAHR is the new company, then they moved Auto-Ordinance to the KAHR building in Blauvelt NY(which is near where I work).

One of my fondest childhood memories is when my Dad took me to Numrich. They gave me a tour of the wherehouse and then let us tour the "off limits" Auto-Ordinance. I was about 16 at the time, they showed us the assembly process or the Thompson and M1911. They even let me test fire a Thompson in thier shop (only 3 rds in a culvert pipe but I was hooked right there and then.

1. I read the article in American Rifleman on the 1911a1 Auto Ordnance and decided to purchase one. I will pick it up in the AM along with my #5 Jungle Carbine. I was sidetracked by the SKS and the M-39. I will post pics in the Am.

2. Ive heard only good things about Auto since Kahr took over and with all the concealed carries I own the K-40 is my one by choice. Heavy but reliable.
