Where's the best place to get a Makarov 9x18??

Sup gentlemen,

I know there not C&R unless there really old (but I know one of you pro's has got to have some info) but where's the best place to get a good late or earlier production Hungarian or Russian Makarov pistol????.......My friends got a brand new brake and chromed threaded barrel that he will sell me and then I'd only need the holster, extra mags and peace grips from makarov.com ! I'd also really like to get a descent C&R Makarov if anyone knows where to find one.

There are Bulgarians around but nothing else that I know of unless you find something on one of the auction sites

That would be great as long as it's not from China......the East German, Hungarians and Russians( If you can find a Russian) I've heard have the best fit and finish......so where do you think I could get one of the Bulgarians from Richard???

Talked a friend of mine into replacing his Lorcin POS with a military Bulgarian this summer at a gunshow. He's a happy camper now. HTH

Thanks for the 411 guys, I'd really like to get a Brand new mak (I'm sure there are plenty out there) but for now I just might have to settle for a "very good" Makarov........the barrel kit my friend has is sweet it's all brand new...........it has the threaded chromed barell, muzzle break, flash hidder and the silencer (I'd have to get the freaking tax stamp for the silencer) he'll sell me the whole thing with the silencer if I get the tax stamp for $100.....not bad considering just the silencer would be more than that!

AAAAAAAHHHH gotta stop thinking about guns........I've got a new SSR-85B AK-47 that I should be getting next month and a nice SAR-1 that I'm buying from a friend, now I'm looking for these Makarov handguns......aaaaahhhh.....lord knows how broke I'll be when I get the C&R license........oh well gas prices are good!
