View Full Version : My Barrel SKS (Norinco)

1. I know I should put this in the Norinco section but the conversation concerning SKS's on this forum is what made me ask about the barrel goods. I dont know if its worth much not knowing much about SKS's but if it a Norinco it should be pretty good.

2. $149.00 out of the Barrel. Told him to hold it and I just picked it up.:)

Exactly where are the import markings found on an SKS?

Depends on the importer. My Norinco, imported by PT Kengs is stamped on the left side of the receiver just above the wood. Century and Interordnance usually mark on the right side of the barrel towards the muzzle. HTH

Thanks. My SKS doesn't have marking on either side.

Looks like a fine rifle you got there. That stock almost looks like the fiber glass vietnam era stock. I thought it was until I saw the close up.

Is there any Chinese arsenal markings? Such as triangle 26, triangle anything?

1. I left it at the office. My wife doesnt know I bought it yet. She will kill me again!!! I check it in the AM when I go in for awhile.
