I have recently purchased a French MAS 1936 in brand new condition.
I got some ammo for it and shot it, lovely weapon.

Mostly I enjoy collecting military rifles, I don't fire them much- I'd rather display them. I am having trouble finding items to display this rifle with.
Does any one know where I might find some leather ammo pouches and stripper clips? or possibly a french ww2 era canteen? I would at least like the tan leather LBE or a bandoleer to display with this rifle.
I would prefer to purchase everything from one source to cut back on S&H
Thanks in advance for any help.

Oh heck no!

I did about 6 weeks ago enter an armsroom that was chalk full of Mas 36s and them Mas 49/66 or whatever those semi-autos were.

French rifles and pistols are pretty much OK. Watch out for French ammo though. Ihad a batch of surplus several years ago that was about one bang per three rounds.
