Hey hypothetical question. How much could you spend on a mak? I'm thinking completly refinishing and nickle plating, new custom sights with trintium dots, new stainless steel federal barrel with compensator, laser sight... am I missing anything? :)

hehe I think i'd be funny to have a pimped out mak costing more than a Ak or even a AR :)

No, I just stold the pic off of Makarov.com. I am thinking of having one of my Mak's Metacoled for carry but I am not partial to chrome.

hell, federal threaded barrel, compensator, extended floorplates, suhl safety with commander hammer, custom holster, and such, like $300, three times the cost of the gun :)

not including sight work (prolly over 200) and coating...

WHEE!

Why the hell would you ruin a military firearm like that?
Looks like somthing some shitbag gangbanger or drugdealer from my old neighborhood would carry.Makes you stick out like a sore thumb in a gun fight.Dont get me wrong it looks nice but I guess that tricked out guns that resemble Low Riders are just not for me.I saw a nikel plated Mak-90 in a shop once. The ugliest thing I ever saw in my life! However,a stainless Sprinfield Armory 1911 looks mighty nice.

Oh don't get me wrong. I love the look of military guns, they have a charm. But I also find it perversly humerious to dress up such a simple cheap gun >:)

...anything you like just as long as you do not put pearl grips on it...you know what General George Patton said about pearl grips...ivory, well that's O.K., but not pearl grips...
