Just ordered two of these babies! I ordered one from Century last week, for a xmas present for my son. I called to check on the order today and guess what, they sold out and didnt even notify me......:( So I checked SOG's site and look what I found

Whats better, that one or the Sistema for $299. I like the the $224. price better...... I think the Sistema is genuine Colt. Is that why they cost so much?

Yeah, the sitema's are Colt's. I think 1 Patriot that has one that was made in the US by Colt for the Argentines.

Yep I lucked out from CDNN.....Got a 1927 Actually made in the US rather than Argentina...though they're built exactly the same to my knowledge.

I've got both and both are excellent buys. The advantage of the Sistema over the Ballister is the availability of parts. All the parts on the Sistema are built to Colt 1911 specifications, so you can replace any part with a standard Colt 1911 part. This is not true of the Ballister...only the barrel is interchangeable with Colt, so if something breaks, you may have a more difficult time finding a replacement part. But like I said, I have both and like both.
