Hey,
I would like to thank you all first for the help, but I got one more question. How do you remove the original gas piston? I have looked at it and it looks like a pin or 2 through it, but it has threads... I have looked at the new one I am getting and I don't see any holes in it. I just need to know how to remove it. If you can give me a little advice, one more time, it'd be very helpful. Thanks again guys...

You have to drive the pin out first then simply unscrew the piston.Installing the new one is going to take a little work. You will have to drill a new hole into the new piston once you have installed to the proper setting. This can be best answered in the Build It Yourself forums.

You can take a permanent marker and color over the area wher the pin is, then wipe it off to show the outline of the pin. Remember the diameter of the pin is smaller than what it looks like. It is flared on the ends. Drill it first.
I've replaced the one on my S-12 and I didn't have to drill and install a new pin. I used threadlocker and mashed the threads on the "piston" thru the old pin holes to keep it from being able to back out. It's still holding fast after lots of abuse.

This does not appeal to the "purist" but I use a .125" steel roll pin to replace the origninal pin on reassembly. Works fine, lasts a long time, won't rust, bust, or gather dust. Did my first one around 10 years ago and nothing's broke yet on close to 10 922r conversions.
