I.A.B. Sharps

I am posting this thread in hopes that someone can tell me where I might find replacement parts for my 1874 Sharps clone. I have contacted IAB in Italy, and even though they show a parts diagram and list, they have been no help. They suggested VTIgunparts, and VTI suggested EMF, and so on. I would like to find a parts source for this rifle so if anything breaks, I'm covered. I probably have put 50 rounds through it in ten years with no problems and intend to do alot more shooting now that I'm retired. I love the old firearms and have 2 Colt SAA .45s, 2 Ruger SAAs, and various other Old West style firearms. Does anyone have any ideas as to whom might carry parts for the IAB? Thank you

OldHenry, after doing a little research I see another possibility. Try contacting the people at Kiesler's Firearms & Accessories. They are also listed as an importer or IAB firearms.

OldHenry, I just got an email reply from TriStar Sporting Arms (http://www.tristarsportingarms.com/) (another importer).They say they do carry replacement parts for the 1874 Sharps clone. They recommend calling their customer service number 816-421-1400 and ask for Steve. Hope this helps!
